As promised in odd sundays...: Marimekko does purses i've given metal frames purses another bash. Thanks to some research in some Japanese craft mags, I've worked out that I needed a 'gap-filler' between the (guterman) glue and the fabric to make sure the fabric really stuck to the frame - my solution was... cotton twine. I've done 'ikea-like' testing (pulling the fabric) and it's stuck! (*happy dance*)And side note, the top and bottom purses is made from the fabulous fabric I bought in Japan two years ago. Japanese prints are so inspiring.
Will be back with more! - so many shapes to play with.
