Marimekko does purses

Marimekko does a lot of things... furniture, fabric, homewares... and lovely little purses.

I tried making metal frame purses a couple of months ago. I managed to cut the fabric out and sew the purse part. I found attaching the frame was kinda tricky. I used the recommended glue (Gutermann) and followed all the instructions on u-handbag but failed to get my purse to stick properly.

But seeing these makes me want to try again - look at the great shapes and think of the potential uses! And I've been picking up some tips from the webs which might make my next try more successful... go forth and make.
