Review: Made Cafe Flemington

My sister was visiting from 'Kal' in WA and wanted a 'Melburnian breakfast'. There's a bit of choice in Flemington but we honed in on Made Cafe (60 Pin Oak Crescent) cos it looked kinda cool with the messy interior design, open sunny aspect, newspapers strewn everywhere and bleary eyed coffee hunters lining up one by one for takeaway coffee.

I found the service a bit slow. The wait-ladies were friendly but we didn't know whether to order at the counter then they took awhile to clear the table then they took a little longer with food.

But the coffee is tasty and the food was freshly made. I got the toasted banana bread - 2 slices! - with nutella and fresh bananas, pistachios and honey. My sister got the in-vogue baked eggs dish (but no chorizo mind).

Long relaxed breakfast on the weekend is a given at this place.
